This has been a busy and productive fall session. My colleagues and I have been working hard for the people of Edmonton West and all Canadians – making sure that the Trudeau Liberal government is held to account. I’m proud to have your Member of Parliament, Kelly McCauley, standing up for Edmonton West with me as we share our positive Conservative vision with Canadians. 

This past summer, I had the pleasure of traveling across Canada where I met so many Canadians who are growing increasingly worried by what they’re seeing from the Trudeau Liberal government.

This has been a busy and productive fall session. My colleagues and I have been working hard for the people of Edmonton West and all Canadians – making sure that the Trudeau Liberal government is held to account. I’m proud to have your Member of Parliament, Kelly McCauley, standing up for Edmonton West with me as we share our positive Conservative vision with Canadians. 

This past summer, I had the pleasure of traveling across Canada where I met so many Canadians who are growing increasingly worried by what they’re seeing from the Trudeau Liberal government.

Canadians have been speaking out against the Trudeau Liberals’ recent decision to raise taxes on local businesses.

Conservatives know that this decision is an attempt to cover up the Liberal government’s massive debts – instead of getting a grip on their spending habits they are making hardworking Canadians pay the price. The Liberals will only back down when Conservatives catch them, but they’re always getting their next tax hike ready. From gas to hydro to employee discounts, health and dental benefits, and even people suffering from diabetes, the Liberals have no shortage of plans to raise your taxes.

This is not fair and Canada’s Conservatives know it. When Justin Trudeau talks about helping families, there’s just no reason to believe him.

Our Conservative team has been fighting these tax hikes every step of the way.

And while the Liberals continue to raise taxes, they have failed to champion Canada’s natural resources. The recent decision by TransCanada to cancel their Energy East pipeline is a direct result of this government’s decision to place endless obstacles in its path.  

Our energy sector has so much potential to create jobs and prosperity for all Canadians. My Conservative colleagues and I will continue to demand that the Liberal government speak up for Canadian resources.

Canadians are quickly starting to understand that Justin Trudeau’s policies are hurting the very same people he claimed he wanted to help.

Canada’s Conservatives will always be the voice of Canadian workers and families. We will continue to work hard to stand up for everyday Canadians and share our positive vision with them.

You can count on us to put the needs of Canadians first and make sure that prosperity for every family is at the core of everything that we do.

There is so much work to do before 2019, but I am confident that together, we will be able to bring Canadians the change they truly deserve.
